Passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on Tuesday, 9th May 2023. Beloved husband of Teresa. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Jose (dec), Maria, Manuel, Luis, Carlos, Jorge and Cristina. Much loved Avo of all his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jose will be sadly missed by his loving family and many dear friends here and in Portugal.

Prayers will be held in the Chapel, Rankins Funeral Home, 270 Cowper Street, Warrawong on Monday, 15th of May 2023 at 4pm.
Requiem Mass for the repose of the Jose’s soul will be celebrated at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 1 Bruce Road Warrawong on Tuesday, 16th May 2023 at 11am. Following the Mass his funeral will proceed to the Wollongong Cemetery, Swan Street, Wollongong.
